Subscription and Billing

Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a free trial period. Your account will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled.

Data Backup
While we maintain regular backups and high availability, we recommend critical data be backed up externally. We are not responsible for data loss due to account deletion.
Screen Monitoring
For users with screen monitoring enabled, you acknowledge and consent to periodic screen capture during designated work hours for productivity tracking.
Data Retention
Upon account termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. Enterprise customers may extend this period.
Service Availability
Uptime Commitment
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with reasonable notice to affected users.
Third-Party Services

Beta Features

Termination

Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data according to our retention policy.
Survival Clause
Provisions that should reasonably survive termination remain in effect, including payment obligations and warranty disclaimers.
Limitation of Liability
Merit Tracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.
